Grand Theft Auto V Review
Grand Theft Auto V is a game that puts players in the shoes of criminals in Los Santos. You have the ability to switch between three protagonists as they work through a criminal saga.
Mind-Blowing Mechanics
There is so much to do in the game, it's mind-blowing. You can invest in the stock market, learn to pilot private jets, steal a submarine, and go treasure-hunting. Jet-skiing, sky-diving, quad-biking, riding bikes off a cliff... the offering is unbelievable.
There is an online mode where you can do all these things with 29 other players. There are lots of deathmatch challenges, races, and missions for you to complete. In one race, for example, you ride a dirtbike across the desert while other players pilot a jet.
Online heists are brilliant – every person has a role to play. You may have a helicopter gunfight or swim your way through pipes while other people hold off the police.
Fluid Controls
When it comes to controls, Grand Theft Auto V feels smooth. After tweaking sensitivity settings, running and shooting is more than easy. Granted, gamepad support is available for PC gamers and it works great when you need to drive around. Indeed, navigating around feels far better when you use triggers and an analog stick for accelerating and steering.
At the same time, it's easier to stave off the police when you use a mouse and a keyboard. Thankfully, you can switch between control inputs as you play. As a little bonus, you can create a custom soundtrack for your car rides. This feature isn't available on consoles.
First-Person View
Walking around the city in the first-person feels like exploring a real place. It's not just fitting a camera into a character's head, but a complete rework of character's movements. The developers added thousands of animations. Small cars feel cramped, while trucks feel vast behind the wheel. Even the radio displays correct stations. Capping off your gaming experience is the Rockstar Editor, a powerful video editing tool. You can record your gameplay and then spice it up in the Editor.
