Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Features New Photography Features, Full VO in 9 Languages, and More
The creators of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster have noted that this version will resemble a completely revamped game rather than a mere remaster. This will not only be due to upgraded visuals and technical aspects when compared to the celebrated original but also because of distinctive gameplay alterations and enhancements.
Capcom provided some insight into new aspects of the game on Twitter. Intriguing new features include expanded photography capabilities for players and a comprehensive voice-over in as many as nine different languages, unlike the earlier game. Subtitle support is extended to fourteen languages.
In another update, it was revealed that Terence J. Rotolo, the voice behind Frank West in the original Dead Rising, will sadly not be reprising his role for the remaster. Capcom has yet to disclose the reasons behind it.
Launching on September 19, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC at a cost of $50. Also, a deluxe edition at $60 will offer additional bonus skins taken from other Capcom entities.
